“O Allah, O He whsourcehe Source of help for those who seek it, O Most Merciful, O Most Compassionate, O Lord of the worlds, O Most Merciful of those who show mercy, O our Lord and O Creator of light, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor, O Creator of humanity from clay and every creation that You have created in the blink of an eye.

I seek refuge in You from the evil of every evil thing that You shall gather me into, or that shall occur to me, or that shall befall me and occur with me, and that I shall be gathered with it.”

The dua provided is known as “Dua al-Mashlool.” 

It is a supplication to Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him), who was the cousin and son-in-law of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the fourth caliph of Islam.

Methods to perform this dua:

1. Before fajar salah First make wudu.
2. Recite Durood Sharif 11 times.
3. Then Recite “bismillahillazi la yadurru” 99 times.
4. Finally, recite “Dua al-Mashlool” 214 times and pray to Allah SWT in your own words to make things easy for you.
