  1. You should do Istikhara to know whether the job is right for you.
  2. Take blessings from your parents or elders before the interview; their Dua and good wishes will boost your confidence.
  3. Before the interview, give some charity or sadaqah to seek the blessings of Allah SWT and purify your intentions.
  4. Before the interview, you must recite ten names 77 times of Allah tala out of 99.
  5. You have to keep positive thoughts in your mind. You must always think that I will pass this interview easily.
  6. You have to recite this dua while sitting in the direction of Qibla.
  7. Please keep in mind that if you are a woman, then do not recite this dua during your menstruation.

Dua for interview (Job interview)

A powerful Dua for success in a job interview is: “Rabbi innee limaa anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqeer.” (Quran 28:24)

Translation: “My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need.”

Reference: This dua is mentioned in Surah Al-Qasas (The Story), specifically verse 24. Surah Al-Qasas is the 28th chapter of the Quran.

Method to perform Dua for interview:

  1. First, Do proper Wudu.
  2. Then, Recite Durood Sharif 11 times.
  3. Read “Ya Hakeem” (O Most Wise) and “Ya Muqtadir” (O All-Powerful) 11 times.
  4. Recite “Rabbi innee limaa anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqeer.” 432 times.
  5. Finally, close your eyes and pray to Allah SWT in your own words for your job interview success.

You have to follow this ritual regularly after any salah for 16 days.

A powerful Dua for success in a job interview is: “Rabbishrah li sadri wa yassir li amri. Wah-lul ‘uqdatan min-lisani, yaf-qahu qawli.”

Translation: “My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance] and ease for me my task. And untie the knot from my tongue that they may understand my speech.” (Quran 20:25-28)

This dua is from the story of Prophet Musa (Moses) when Allah selected him to get His message to Pharaoh. 

It can be recited before an interview 545 times to seek Allah’s help in overcoming anxiety, speaking clearly, and performing well during the interview.
